Pel Jr

Pel Jr is the new soul born inside the preserved body of the dragon Pel when the Midnight realm's energy awakens Inn property. Initially unable to move a body vastly stronger than his mortal soul, he grows into an active dragon worker who can defend the Inn and babysit dangerous children. (Chapters 984, 1009–1010, 2390)

Biography

A soul trapped in a dragon

Pel Jr awakens in panic because he can sense but cannot control the enormous dragon corpse Lex has been using as a cultivation mat. Lex explains the mismatch and proposes a compromise: he will absorb part of the body's excess strength while finding Pel Jr a soul-cultivation technique, allowing body and soul to approach a controllable balance. The newborn worries that helping him will ruin Lex's mat, an immediate display of concern for a colleague who is plainly benefiting from the arrangement. (Chapter 984)

Lex cultivates on the dragon while warning Pel Jr not to interrupt, and the young soul interprets that effort as dedication to easing his burden. Over time the plan succeeds beyond simple movement. Pel Jr becomes a functioning Inn worker, participates in defense, and by the supplied endpoint is exhaustedly supervising Almira, enforcing Moon's prohibition against playing in hell and offering safer custom dungeons instead. Appearance and personality

Pel Jr inhabits the full body of a gigantic dragon whose physical presence once served as Lex's meditation platform. His first voice is tiny, squeaky, and frightened in stark contrast to that body. He is innocent, grateful, conscientious, and increasingly patient, although babysitting Almira can visibly exhaust him. (Chapters 984, 2390)

Abilities and cultivation

Pel Jr begins with a mortal soul trapped in a body retaining the physical might of a Heaven Immortal dragon. That discrepancy prevents any movement or meaningful use of power. Soul training and Lex's gradual absorption reduce the gap until he can control the body, after which dragon durability and scale make him useful in defense and transport. The narrative does not give a formal realm for Pel Jr's soul or show that he can express every ability of the original Pel; inherited physical potential must therefore be distinguished from mastered cultivation.
