Nora Haugen

Nora Haugen is the enigmatic head of the Haugen estate, an Earth Immortal, and an official wife of King Cornelius. She rarely asks directly for what she wants, preferring information channels and engineered circumstances, but Cwenhild can still compel her attention by threatening the art collection she values.

Biography

Returning for Cwenhild's opportunity

Nora abandons other business and returns to the academy after Cwenhild threatens her art collection, not because she openly admits maternal pride. She then supplies the channels needed to sell Lex's captured realm and advises on dense energy payments. The transaction suits her methods: Cwenhild gains a broker, Lex gains access to markets, and Nora positions herself inside an unprecedented opportunity without making an explicit demand. Information as family leverage

Nora knows Cornelius has placed spies in her estate and still lets information about Lex's realm captures reach him. By controlling what those spies can discover, she turns surveillance into a message and influences royal attention without openly petitioning her husband.
