Lovis

Lovis is a leader of the Paladin order who recognizes the Midnight Inn as a holy refuge and turns a rented village into a concealed base for his people. Biography

Establishing the Village of Light

Lovis enters the Inn through the inter-realm door and interprets it as a place capable of tempering warrior will. Under his leadership, Paladins quietly use the Inn to shelter personnel and hide important artifacts from a galaxy trapped in war. He later defends the Innkeeper against a deity's follower, arguing that creating neutral sanctuary is a courageous moral act rather than an encroachment on divine authority. (Chapters 488, 628, 716)

After promotion to Grandmaster, Lovis hears Leo's request for knowledge that might stop human demonification. He scrutinizes the visitor to protect the order's weaknesses, then decides the purpose aligns with Paladin justice. Appearance and personality

Lovis is a very large human whose height and width appear to increase with advancement. He carries an oversized sword and shield and initially wears a helmet, removing it when he wants to witness sacred ground directly. Abilities and cultivation

Lovis follows the Paladin path, which tempers will and uses absolute faith in a personal oath to generate holy energy. It resembles divine and angelic power without depending on worship from others.
