Little Blue

Little Blue is a flying whale adopted by the Galactic Sovereign Turtle and raised at the Midnight Inn. Once an ordinary, traumatized animal from Earth, he becomes an Earth Immortal Kun Peng, a member of Fenrir's pack, and Z's trusted mount and partner in guarding the Dream tavern.

Biography

A rescued whale at the Inn

Little Blue arrives after fishermen kill his family, leaving the young whale frightened of humans and dependent on the Galactic Sovereign Turtle's protection. The turtle adopts him, gives him his name, and creates the safety in which he can begin socializing. Little Blue remains shy enough to watch gatherings from hiding, but he seeks out Z when separated from his adoptive father and gradually joins the Inn's community instead of living only through fear. Friendship with Fenrir gives Little Blue a more playful role. The pair chase and tease each other through the forest, while the whale's gentler temperament makes him particularly effective with children and eventually earns him work at the Inn's play area. Cultivation, nurturing from his adoptive father, and a Beast awakening change him from a vulnerable mascot into a growing defender without erasing the affectionate family relationships that enabled that growth. Kun Peng heritage and guardianship

Little Blue's bloodline begins evolving from blue whale to Kun Peng during the birth of the Midnight realm. Wings, a vast aura, and predatory racial power accompany the change, but he remains youthful and closely attached to Fenrir and the turtle. In Abaddon he leaves the Inn with Fenrir's group, speaks through spirit sense for the first time, and is drawn into the inner jungle to receive his race's complete heritage. The ordeal makes him a more capable combatant rather than merely a protected companion. (Chapters 988–996, 1124–1169, 1575, 1602, and 1630–1652)

His first major field battle shows what that development means. Little Blue spreads an aura that marks nearly everything around him as prey and converts the marked targets into energy that he devours, though the exertion destabilizes his control and forces him to rest. Later he serves as Z's mount while the pair oversee the Dream tavern. When a hostile guest exerts suppression carrying a hint of Dao, Little Blue tears through it to support Z; when peak Celestials later isolate him before abducting Z, their deliberate separation demonstrates how closely the two have become linked as a defensive team. Appearance and personality

Little Blue begins as a large baby blue whale capable of flying without wings. His formal Inn suit makes the strange sight look deliberately charming. During the Kun Peng evolution he grows larger and develops majestic wings, yet retains the rounded, youthful appearance that leads observers to describe him as cute even after his aura becomes intimidating. He is shy, affectionate, and initially wary of humans because of his family's death. Safety makes him mischievous rather than aggressive: he enjoys games with Fenrir, takes pride in being the turtle's first and favorite child, and likes displaying his wings to unfamiliar admirers. Cultivation and Kun Peng evolution

Little Blue advances from a non-cultivating Earth whale to Foundation realm, then reaches Earth Immortal after the Midnight realm's accelerated years. Nurturing by the Galactic Sovereign Turtle initiates his Beast awakening, while the later Kun Peng evolution changes both species and bloodline. The complete racial heritage received in Abaddon expands that foundation, but no later formal realm is named. His power can exceed ordinary expectations for his level because Kun Peng stand above dragons on the Cosmic Ascendance Spectrum, though the story demonstrates that advantage through specific aura effects rather than treating it as unlimited superiority. Flight, aura, and devouring

Flight is natural to Little Blue even before his transformation and lets him outpace stronger ground-bound companions. As a Kun Peng, his aura declares a vast area as hunting territory and can mark targets as prey, convert their state into energy, and draw that energy into his mouth. He can consciously exclude allies, but early large-scale use makes his aura unstable and leaves him resting from overexertion. He also demonstrates an innate ability to summon water and later uses his aura to break suppression carrying a trace of Dao. (Chapters 99–100, 211, 638, 1652–1667, and 2210)

Senses and partnership

Little Blue can communicate through spirit sense after becoming an immortal and can scout threats without attracting their attention; during the Abaddon expedition he spots Heaven Immortals before they detect him. His size, flight, and protective aura make him an effective mount for Z, but the partnership remains vulnerable to opponents who prepare specifically to separate rider and mount, as the Celestials do during Z's abduction.
