Leonidas

Leonidas is a youthful Inn worker whose uncompromising desire to fight develops into command of the Midnight Battalion. (Chapters 655, 995, 1089–1093)

Biography

From eager recruit to commander

While other new workers explore the Inn, Leonidas remains at attention and tells Lex that he wants only to fight. His short, youthful appearance undercuts the intimidation he attempts, but not his commitment. He joins veteran deployments and becomes leader of a three-hundred-member Midnight Battalion. During its first excursion, the unit protects Lex through the prolonged destruction of a highly resilient Tree, converting Leonidas's enthusiasm into sustained command responsibility. Appearance and personality

Leonidas is short and young-looking, with a rigid soldier's posture and forceful voice. He is earnest, disciplined, and intensely combat-oriented, preferring duty to leisure and maintaining protection through a months-long operation. (Chapters 655, 1093)

Abilities and cultivation

Leonidas commands the Midnight Battalion and coordinates experienced Inn fighters during external deployments.
