Joseph Noel is the patriarch of Pvarti and Bertram's family and the lord responsible for Babylon. Biography

Returning to a ruined Babylon

Joseph returns with his son Bertram after the attack on Babylon and finds the Midnight Tavern standing amid the devastation. Instead of treating that survival as proof of guilt, he investigates the tavern's unusual defenses, recognizes that its proprietor has connections beyond an ordinary merchant, and chooses a peaceful introduction. Joseph's approach reflects lessons from his earlier life as a common adventurer.
