Heidi

Heidi is an eighteen-year-old Earth cultivator whose harassment of an Inn waitress escalates into a public match against Z. Defeat and a sincere apology unexpectedly save her when Jeckal abandons or kills her siblings, leaving Heidi alive but financially and socially responsible for herself for the first time.

Biography

Harassment and public defeat

Heidi treats a waitress's discomfort as an ordinary privilege until Lex intervenes and refuses to frame misconduct as a respectable feud between juniors. Embarrassment and jealousy push her to accept Z's challenge on behalf of Sean's group. Z defeats them while using only a card and one hand, then slaps Heidi as the match's final blow; she controls her anger, admits fault, and apologizes before leaving. (Chapters 220–222)

Survival through accountability

Heidi reports the episode honestly to her father because she knows lying would be worse. Jeckal reveals an urn containing siblings he killed as liabilities and considers doing the same to her, but her refusal to quit the match and apology without further beating impress him. He lets her live and keep her bank balance while withdrawing all other support, turning one moment of accountability into the reason she receives an independent future. Appearance and personality

Heidi is an eighteen-year-old human woman, taller than Z, whose third-step Qi Training status appears ordinary to Lex's scan. She begins spoiled, jealous, and accustomed to social escalation, but is not incapable of self-control. Shock replaces fear when Z wins, and she apologizes voluntarily despite humiliation. Heidi is at the third step of Qi Training and has enough academy exposure to direct Sean and his friends during a formal match.
