Haris

Biography

Love, separation, and a harder purpose

Haris first uses the Inn as a refuge where he and Ayesha can spend time together beyond their families' reach. When the families separate them and enroll him in Ventura Brown, he returns alone, clashes with Babur over the situation, yet controls himself when Alexander warns that violence would cost him access to the Inn. Haris entrusts the Innkeeper with a green crystal and a promise to reach Ventura Silver, preserving a path back to Ayesha. Years without contact leave him less vibrant, but the Ventura advancement trial redirects that frustration into service: alone on an insect-ravaged planet, he repeatedly lures armies away from isolated survivors and rigs settlements to explode only after evacuation, growing dramatically stronger within the same realm through repeated risk. Haris is a teenager whose specific features are not described. He is intensely romantic, proud, and prone to dramatic hostility, once drawing a sword on Babur despite a clear power disadvantage.
