Fahad

Fahad is a Celestial Immortal of the Henali who works closely with Noor and repeatedly intersects with Lex during high-level operations. He combines the discretion of an operative with the authority to protect weaker participants, and later publicly recognizes humanity's rapid rise through Rafael's championship cohort.

Biography

Meeting Lex and testing his independence

Fahad and Noor approach Lex in human forms after recognizing an unexpected opportunity. When Lex asks how to carry a planet without severing its connection to its world, Fahad first points out that the Inn could solve the problem; Lex's insistence on relying on his own effort catches his interest. Their conversation becomes an evaluation as much as advice, suggesting that Fahad sees the Innkeeper's apparent cultivation of Lex as strategically important. (Chapters 1135–1136)

Protection during the Sanguis Pluvia crisis

Fahad later conceals Lex from Celestial Immortal perception with an enchantment and helps shepherd him and Lilith through conflicts far above their realm. He does not eliminate every danger for them: he warns, shields, and creates room to withdraw while allowing Lex to act. Recognizing humanity's champions

At the later championship, Fahad serves as an authoritative public voice. He emphasizes that Rafael and his companions entered as Nascent Soul cultivators, became immortals during the competition, and earned their positions by eliminating cultists. The speech turns his private assessment of unusual humans into institutional recognition, placing Henali prestige behind a result that signals a broader change in human destiny. Appearance and personality

Fahad uses a convincing human form even though Lex instinctively senses that he and Noor are not human. He is observant and guarded, showing genuine curiosity when Lex refuses easy institutional help. Under attack he remains alert even while exhausted and unable to sense Noor, prioritizing the possibility of an ambush over relief. Celestial Immortal concealment

Fahad is explicitly identified as a Celestial Immortal. He can place an enchantment on Lex that hides him from the senses of other Celestial Immortals, a precise protective measure valuable in operations where open force would attract greater threats. Henali form and operational judgment

Like Noor, Fahad can operate through a human appearance without revealing his native Henali body. His strength is so far above Lex at their first meeting that Lex cannot read his cultivation pressure. He couples that power with situational discipline, maintaining his guard after an unseen target disappears and distinguishing between aid that protects a junior and intervention that would prevent the junior's growth.
