Biography

From final stand to reclamation

Blane and Brother Chen arrive after a desperate zombie battle, cautious and unusually meek before powers they cannot measure. Healing old injuries lets both attempt Foundation breakthroughs before returning to search for their vanished caravan. Blane's tracking finds no trail, but when unfamiliar Jotun soldiers offer an implausible explanation, he chooses verification over immediate violence because a Golden Key provides an escape. That decision leads them to the reclamation outpost, Iris's safety, Lily's location, and a new imperial future. (Chapters 30–40, 54, 73–81)

Appearance and personality

Blane is a uniformed human soldier whose restraint at the Inn contrasts with his ferocity in zombie territory. He is loyal, suspicious, pragmatic, and willing to issue threats, yet can revise his judgment when new evidence and a safe contingency make cooperation rational. (Chapters 30–31, 54, 73)

Abilities and cultivation

Blane begins at peak Qi Training and reaches Foundation after the Recovery pod removes accumulated injuries that had obstructed cultivation. He is a skilled tracker and experienced zombie fighter. No named personal technique is established, and even his tracking cannot recover a trail erased by relocation rather than ordinary movement. (Chapters 30, 36, 54, 73)
