Biography

An interview reversed

Bagheera approaches Lex as a formal Expo representative and conducts a meeting in a purpose-built conference room. Velma's casual commentary then exposes secrets at the level of Bagheera's essence despite his equipment and Immortal protections. The interviewer becomes the unsettled subject, leaving the encounter with his confidence shaken and demonstrating that ordinary professional control cannot withstand the Inn's unusual information network. Bagheera is an Obsidian Scaled Panther with a formidable nonhumanoid body. He is initially polished and courteous but becomes deeply apprehensive when private truths surface. (Chapters 1426–1429)
