Allen

Allen is Vanessa's academy boyfriend and a young swordsman who befriends Kai during a Hearthwood hunting project. His later humiliation is inseparable from Kai LuForia's covert hypnosis.

Biography

Hunting partnership and coerced rivalry

Allen rushes toward Vanessa's scream when an Alpha Horned Rabbit attacks her, but Kai reaches the decisive fight first. Grateful for the rescue, Allen introduces the couple and welcomes Kai into their project. He becomes the practical leader of their forest-wolf hunts, directs targets, checks equipment, and fights at close range while Vanessa provides fire support. Kai then implants suggestions that make Allen trust him and treat Kai's sexual contact with Vanessa as normal, turning an apparently friendly partnership into one structured by concealed coercion. When Kai returns years later, Allen is still trying to build a future with Vanessa and save enough for a costly restaurant date. Finding her there with Kai breaks his confidence, yet the hypnosis channels his anger into the belief that defeating Kai might restore his honor. Appearance and personality
