OuYang ZiZhen

Biography

Captive at Burial Mound

OuYang ZiZhen is among the juniors brought to Burial Mound before the assembled clans arrive for a second siege. Remembering that Wei WuXian saved the juniors in Yi City and now appears to be saving them again, he questions the accusations against him even when his father warns him to remain silent. Defense of the Demon-Slaughtering Cave

When the attacking cultivators lose their spiritual powers, OuYang ZiZhen calls for his father to trust the juniors and shelter inside the cave. He participates in working out how the loss occurred and joins Lan SiZhui, Lan JingYi, and the others in fighting beside Wen Ning when the defensive array breaks. (Chapters 79–82)

Speaking for Wei WuXian

After the siege, OuYang ZiZhen refuses Sect Leader Yao's suspicious framing of Wei WuXian's presence on the juniors' boat. He points out that without Wei WuXian's intervention, none of them would have escaped safely, earning an anxious rebuke from his father but continuing to show concern for the exhausted adults.
