The Blade of the Trickster God is a Fox God-aligned holy sword whose wounds appear in a different place from the injury they actually inflict.

History

Tian's first Divine Runic Smithing demonstration

Karl develops [Divine Runic Smithing] so Tian and Rue can create holy weapons that align with a user's faith. After Rue demonstrates the new craft with a Void Dragon-aligned blade, she tells Tian that he can produce the same basic form for the Fox God. Tian forms a simple glowing white sword, and Cara's reaction draws attention to the weapon's deceptive blessing. Its successful creation proves that the craft adapts not only its element but also its effects and access restrictions to the patron deity. The blade remains in Tian's hand in the only documented scene, with no later transfer, sale, or destruction recorded. (Chapter 1812)

Abilities and properties

• The sword is a Peerless-grade holy weapon aligned with the Fox God. Only followers of the Fox God and affiliated Chaos Gods can use it; the corpus does not define how the weapon tests faith or what happens when an ineligible person attempts to wield it. (Chapter 1812)
