Sub-Chief Snakebite

Snakebite is a large Orc sub-chief of the Bhakh Clan, whose village follows the old ways.

Biography

Welcoming allies into an undead siege

Snakebite receives Karl courteously despite warning that the old ways leave little basis for trade. That hospitality quickly becomes a battlefield alliance when undead assault the village: he stands beside Karl, hurls spears formed from Lotus' vines, and watches the team's mixed tactics with appreciative amusement. (Chapters 901, 903)

The chief recognizes that Karl's group covers threats for which his own people normally need additional Shamans, especially ghosts and haints. He accepts Karl's extension of limited invulnerability for a duel and later invites the visitors to his house, preserving the relationship beyond the immediate defense. (Chapters 904–905, 918)

Appearance and personality

Snakebite is described as a huge Orc. He is formal with guests, proud of his clan's customs, relaxed under battlefield pressure, and openly appreciative of allies who compensate for his village's tactical gaps. (Chapters 901, 903–904)

Abilities and class

Snakebite fights by hurling spears, including temporary weapons made from Lotus's vines. The source shows effective participation against massed undead but names no personal System skill, rank, or spear technique. (Chapter 903)

Against incorporeal undead, his clan normally requires extra Shamans, establishing a limitation in the village's ordinary capabilities. Karl's limited invulnerability is an externally supplied protection, not Snakebite's own power. (Chapters 904–905)
