Geralt

Geralt is a Dwarven Master Sculptor from Bara whose expertise helps turn Tian’s proposed fighting venue into the Darklight Arena.

Biography

Bringing Bara’s sculpting tradition to the guild

Geralt reaches the Darklight Host through a professional connection involving Sapphire’s family and introduces himself to Karl as a master of sculpture. He explains that sculptors can incorporate limited abilities into statues, although their work cannot reproduce the breadth or strength that dedicated equipment makers place into worn gear. The distinction gives Karl a realistic sense of the craft’s value and prevents artistic enchantment from being mistaken for unrestricted item creation. (Chapters 1136–1137)

His willingness to teach and discuss the trade makes him more than a commissioned artisan. Geralt offers a specialist tradition the newer guild can preserve and apply, while Karl’s network gives him a community in which magical sculpture has practical demand. His rank in the System hierarchy is not stated, so “Master” denotes trade mastery rather than a confirmed combat rank. (Chapters 1136–1137)

Shaping a proposal into the Darklight Arena

When Tian needs help creating an arena, Geralt agrees immediately and visits the site rather than designing from assumptions. He adjusts the plan to the available ground and intended displays, joining architectural practicality to Tian’s vision. Their collaboration produces a venue whose presentation and layout are treated as part of its identity, not as decoration added after construction. (Chapters 1273–1275)

Geralt and Tian name the completed project the Darklight Arena, and Geralt remains its resident master. The role gives him continuing responsibility for its sculptural and physical development while anchoring him in the guild community. No later relocation, promotion, or change of custody is shown. (Chapters 1281, 1288)

Appearance and personality

Geralt is a Dwarf; the corpus supplies no reliable hair, beard, eye, or clothing details. He is collegial and decisive, readily explaining his craft’s limits and accepting Tian’s proposal without unnecessary ceremony. His habit of inspecting the site and revising plans marks him as practical as well as artistic. (Chapters 1136–1137, 1273–1275)

Abilities and class

Geralt’s defining capability is Master-level Sculpting. He can shape substantial works and add some magical abilities to statues, making the craft useful for functional displays and built environments. Those embedded effects are narrower than the enchantments of dedicated equipment trades; their exact cost, material requirements, duration, and strongest demonstrated effect are not specified. Adequate stone, a workable site, and the sculptor’s design labour remain practical constraints. (Chapters 1136–1137, 1273–1275)

No combat class, rank, or fighting technique is given. His arena work demonstrates large-project planning, adaptation, and installation rather than a new supernatural power. At his latest appearance he remains the resident Master Sculptor, with no confirmed progression beyond that professional standing. (Chapters 1281, 1288)

Relationships

Geralt treats Karl as a prospective student, patron, and guild connection. His most sustained collaboration is with Tian, whose arena concept he converts into a viable design and shared institution. Sapphire’s family network provides the professional link that brings him into this circle. (Chapters 1136–1137, 1273–1288)
