Aliah

Aliah is the matron assigned to the Tiny World's dragon orphanage. A disciple of the Red Dragon, Goddess of War and Orphans, she combines church authority with practical knowledge of hatchlings and becomes the adult responsible for integrating newly hatched divine beasts into the growing community.

Biography

A church appointee becomes the hatchlings' stable authority

Aliah enters the Tiny World with her husband Axel as part of the church-selected staff for a new dragon brood. She quickly assumes the matron's role, reading young forest-dragon behavior well enough to predict why Dana's attempt to hold Button upside down will fail. When Matilda later orders temporary visitors home before the Tiny World moves to the Immortal Realm, Aliah immediately asks whether the removal includes the orphanage residents, showing that continuity of care—not travel or personal advancement—is her first concern. (Chapters 1300–1301 and 1481)

Her role becomes most concrete during a mass hatching. Aliah introduces herself to an orphaned Storm Dragon, tells him plainly that his mother died and his father is unknown, then redirects him from hunting dangerous carp with prepared food. Karl identifies her as the person responsible for making everyone behave, and Aliah continues recording each hatchling's temperament while more eggs open. Her latest state is active management of the brood, with discipline, food, and accurate information replacing the parents the young dragons lost. (Chapters 1650–1651)

Appearance and personality

Aliah is an adult woman married to Axel. The corpus does not establish her species, hair, eyes, height, or clothing, so no more specific physical description is reliable. (Chapter 1300)

She is experienced, amused by predictable hatchling behavior, and direct without being cruel. She answers a newborn's questions honestly, offers food before the situation becomes a chase, and treats observations such as a Wind Dragon's appetite as information useful for future care. (Chapters 1301 and 1650–1651)

Abilities and class

Aliah is a disciple of the Red Dragon, whose divine portfolio includes war and orphans. This establishes religious training and authority but does not identify her precise class, rank, spells, or combat method. No scene shows her casting a named blessing or attack. (Chapters 1300 and 1650)

Her demonstrated expertise is husbandry rather than a mapped System skill: she understands how young forest dragons orient themselves, manages feeding, and records emerging traits across a mixed brood. The corpus gives no later class progression or magical upgrade, so her latest confirmed capability remains institutional care backed by Red Dragon discipleship. (Chapters 1301 and 1650–1651)

Relationships

  • Axel: Aliah's husband and the orphanage's Patron works beside her in the church-appointed brood staff. (Chapter 1300)
  • Dana: Aliah recognizes that Dana means well with Button but has more practical experience interpreting dragon hatchling behavior. (Chapter 1301)
  • Karl: Karl presents Aliah to a new hatchling as the Tiny World's behavioral authority and returns the young dragon to her care for its first meal. (Chapter 1650)
  • Button: Button's disorientation in Dana's arms gives Aliah an early opportunity to demonstrate her knowledge of young forest dragons. (Chapter 1301)

Items

Aliah has no scoped catalog item. The food and orphanage supplies she uses belong to the shared care operation rather than being named personal possessions.
