Biography

Echelon Academy humiliation

Yuhiko is admired as Echelon Academy's most beautiful girl and appears fair-minded until Gustav Oslov confesses his feelings. Offended that a supposedly worthless classmate approached her, she transforms a hairpin into a boulder and drops it on him, breaking more than a hundred bones and nearly killing him. Her violence becomes one of the starkest examples of the status-based abuse that shapes Gustav's early life, while she faces no comparable consequence at school. (Chapter 5)

Substitute under Gustav's command

Years later, Yuhiko joins Earth's IYSOP substitutes and avoids eye contact when greeting teammates who remember her past. Rivals assume she is an easy source of points, so Gustav has her repeatedly decline challenges until the pattern makes opponents careless. She follows his signal, accepts Veskes's challenge, and turns the ridicule into an opening to compete.
