Ring Lord Vanisher
Ring Lord Vanisher is one of the three Ring Lords behind the Burning Sands establishment and the campaign that frames Boss Danzo. His vanishing bloodline cannot save him when Gustav retaliates for Danzo's death.
Biography
The Burning Sands conspiracy
Vanisher shares control of a wealthy criminal and entertainment enterprise whose arena exploits fighters while its operators manipulate law enforcement. When lawyer Peter Gill threatens their position, Vanisher orders that he be identified and killed. Evidence later establishes that the Ring Lords also directed officers to torture Boss Danzo and implant the tracker used to build the false case, making Vanisher an organizer of the pressure that destroys Danzo's public standing. (Chapters 679–724 and 803)
Failed escape and posthumous evidence
After Danzo's death, Gustav Oslov storms the Ring Lords' properties in a rage. Vanisher activates the black markings of his bloodline and tries to disappear, but Gustav's overwhelming attack prevents escape and kills him with the other targets. Much later, Gustav flesh-warps and duplicates Vanisher's preserved corpse, then uses its recognizable head as part of the evidence operation against the corrupt network. Vanisher therefore remains influential only through proof of the conspiracy he helped create. (Chapters 733–735, 778, and 803)
Appearance and personality
Vanisher is a handsome, cream-toned, middle-aged man around six feet tall. His defining marks are black lines centered on his forehead, which spread when his bloodline activates. He is calculating when protected by money and subordinates, ordering covert murder rather than risking exposure, but fear quickly overtakes that assurance once Gustav reaches him directly. (Chapters 724, 733–735, and 778)
Bloodlines and abilities
Vanisher's bloodline allows him to vanish as the black forehead markings spread. The Ring Lords' preserved bodies are described as having bloodlines trained to Kilo level, placing the ability well above ordinary criminals. Its practical limitation is decisive: activation is not instantaneous protection against a vastly faster, stronger attacker, and Gustav kills Vanisher before he can turn disappearance into a successful escape. (Chapters 733–735 and 778)
