Biography

A game, a wager, and new friction

Lim challenges Gustav Oslov in a virtual-reality strategy game and attaches a flirtatious date wager to the result. Gustav wins by recognizing the simulation's astrophysical pattern, and Lim responds with competitive demands for another attempt rather than hostility. Their wager and growing familiarity create visible tension for Angy, though Lim remains part of the same friend group. (Chapters 106–112)

Standing beside Angy

When Zim savagely injures Angy during the tournament, Lim's rivalry and teasing become irrelevant. She begs for intervention, stays with Elle and Arianna while Angy receives treatment, and caresses her face when she wakes. Lim's response confirms that the earlier romantic friction does not outweigh loyalty during a genuine crisis. (Chapters 115–120)
