Biography
Refusing the emperor's isolation order
Guards tell Borl that Emperor Dhios does not wish to be disturbed, but the general declares his matter grave enough that anyone blocking him will die. He moves through the imperial structure with deceptive speed, bringing a senior military force into the same space where the resistance is trying to break the emperor's control. (Chapters 1351–1352)
Caught in the reversed crisis
Borl's arrival intensifies the confrontation involving Matilda, Toldou, and Tuenviq. The first outcome produces deaths and collapse around Dhios, but Gustav Oslov's time reversal rewrites the immediate disaster.
