Biography

Choosing survival over the homeland

When Jael argues that abandoning Humbad would betray Slarkov heritage, Elyn answers from Lord Fraumbultin's side that heritage lives in the people's unity and resilience, not a single place. Her intervention reframes evacuation as preservation rather than cowardice and gives the threatened population a moral argument for survival. (Chapter 1556)

Through the deity conflict

Elyn remains with Fraumbultin, Seran, and Gustav Oslov as the war's danger develops. Her continued support helps hold the survivor faction together while stronger figures make military decisions, and she reaches the later stages alive, representing the civilian continuity that the evacuation argument was meant to protect.
