Note disguise

History

Arthur requests a disguise, and Vincent obtains a white mask and midnight-blue Nightmare Fox coat that Arthur first unwraps and tests before visiting the Adventurer Guild. Wearing them as Note, the underage Arthur qualifies as an adventurer without exposing his family identity, travels with Jasmine Flamesworth, and enters the Dire Tombs. He later stores the disguise in his dimension ring. (Chapters 22, 25–26, and 29–37)

Properties and use

The white mask changes Arthur's voice. The Nightmare Fox coat fits itself to its wearer and makes the wearer harder to register visually. Neither piece is shown suppressing identifying mana information, and the disguise does not change Arthur's body or fighting style, so people familiar with his distinctive magic or swordsmanship can still create risks for the identity. (Chapters 25–26 and 29–37)
