Caera's disguise pendant — The Beginning After the End

History

Caera reveals the teardrop pendant to Arthur, briefly hands it to him while explaining that it hides her horns and supports the Haedrig disguise, and takes it back. She continues using it during covert movement, including the Reliquary operation with Arthur, and can dismiss the effect by withdrawing mana from the pendant. (Chapters 311, 328, 344–359, 393, 446, and 477)

Properties and use

When supplied with mana, the pendant changes Caera's visible appearance and supports the male Haedrig disguise rather than merely hiding her face. Deactivation restores her normal features and horns. The artifact does not erase her memories, abilities, or mana signature from every possible form of scrutiny, so the disguise still depends on behavior and secrecy. (Chapters 328, 344–359, and 393)
