Ring of Gravity
The Ring of Gravity is a C-rank black ring that increases its wearer's effective body mass through adjustable settings.
History
From Immorra spoils to training tool
Ren Dover identifies the ring while sorting items he brought back from Immorra and deciding what to keep or sell to fund his mercenary group. He retains it and later wears it during an intensive week of physical training, increasing the load on his body while repeatedly exhausting and replenishing mana to improve his capacity. (Chapters 217 and 233)
Properties and functions
- The ring has ten settings. Wearing it doubles body mass, and changing the setting doubles the mass in relation to the selected level; the wording does not explicitly establish the absolute multiplier at every setting. (Chapters 217 and 233)
- Ren adjusts the ring manually and uses the resulting weight during exercises such as push-ups. Its demonstrated function is training resistance rather than an attack on an external target. (Chapter 233)
- The ring is rated C rank, but the corpus does not state an activation cost, safety cutoff, or whether its effect can be projected onto anyone other than its wearer. (Chapters 217 and 233)
