Ronald Dover
Ronald Dover is Ren's reserved father and the D+-ranked leader who raises a bronze guild to silver grade.
Biography
Guild and family
Ronald leads his young guild through growth while recognizing the factions that threaten its unity. When Ren visits, Ronald controls recording of the duel and listens without defensiveness as his son diagnoses the organization. At home he speaks little, but his restraint is not indifference: after Ren returns from captivity and chooses to leave again, Ronald understands that force will not change him and tells Samantha to let him go. He later protects Samantha and Nola during the Pillar crisis, drawing a sword against a creature he cannot match, and survives to confront Ren's decade-long fixation on the past. (Chapters 75–82, 253–287, 810–853)
Appearance and personality
Ronald bears a strong resemblance to Ren. He is quiet, practical, and emotionally contained, expressing care through judgment and action rather than many words. His willingness to respect Ren's decision contrasts with his readiness to stand between his family and a superior enemy. (Chapters 76, 253, 287, 810)
Powers and abilities
Ronald is explicitly D+ rank when introduced and commands a silver-grade guild. He uses a sword and takes a defensive stance in the final crisis, but the corpus names no manual or later rank advancement. Against the Pillar creature, his courage exceeds his confirmed combat capacity. (Chapters 75, 810)
