Biography

The five-billion challenge

William introduces himself enthusiastically at Luo Feng's welcoming banquet, then accepts a five-billion staked challenge encouraged by the camp faction around Candace. In the virtual gymnasium, Luo Feng defeats him and uses the winnings to fund his development. William remains around rank one hundred fifty afterward while Luo Feng climbs rapidly, and he continues to associate with Candace as their younger rival's position improves.
