Watchman Bevin

Watchman Bevin is the long-serving official stationed on the Heavenly Bridge's central island. He receives challengers, manages access to each bridge, observes their battles, and circulates noteworthy results to peers, teachers, and senior spectators throughout the Virtual Universe Company.

Biography

Receiving the new genius cohort

Bevin introduces himself to Luo Feng when the new cohort first reaches the Heavenly Bridge. He explains the challenge system and reports that, among roughly nine hundred early attempts, only Bolan clears even the first level. Over the cohort's Chaos City years he checks bridge availability, admits each challenger in turn, and respectfully accommodates senior Undyings who arrive to watch their disciples. Recording the cohort's breakthroughs

As the geniuses advance, Bevin becomes their information hub. He mails Rong Jun and the other students when Luo Feng clears the third level, observes Bolan's repeated attempts, and judges that Bolan's pride is obstructing a talent already comparable to some Undyings in space-law comprehension. When Luo Feng later surpasses Bolan, Bevin again alerts their peers, turning a private bridge attempt into a cohort-wide benchmark. (Chapters 460–468 and 517–549)

Watching Luo Feng's mature challenges

Thousands of years later, Bevin continues guarding the same island and summons groups of Undyings when Luo Feng begins another run. He witnesses six consecutive victories during one attempt. After Luo Feng conquers Sector Lord Primal Sky Mountain, Bevin watches him clear the twentieth bridge level and challenge the twenty-first; although Luo Feng loses, breaking the guardian's Seal and forcing its killing technique leaves the experienced watchman openly stunned. Appearance and personality

Bevin wears a black robe patterned with stars. He has four ears, no nose, and a friendly expression. His manner is patient, approachable, and lightly humorous with returning challengers, but his reactions remain candid: exceptional results repeatedly shock him even after he has guarded the bridge for trillions of years. Abilities and progression

The narrative places Bevin among Undyings and says he has guarded the Heavenly Bridge for trillions of years, but it does not show him fighting, name a law path, or specify an Undying class. His demonstrated expertise is administrative and evaluative: controlling challenger order, viewing every bridge battle, recognizing the meaning of law techniques, and rapidly messaging interested observers.
