Poison

Poison is a veteran chemist in Tai Wo's outer-region battlefield team and the strongest member after its undying captain when Luo Feng joins. His costly potions and cultivated plant life let him fight above sector-lord rank, while his long pursuit of the scaled undying who ate a fallen teammate gives the group's early campaign its most personal conflict. (Chapters 756–769 and 774)

Biography

Battlefields and the Blade River Era

Poison welcomes the newcomers called Madman and Rock into Tai Wo's seasoned team, warns them that battlefield habits were purchased with lives, and becomes one of the anchors around whom weaker members are told to stay. When an automaton's Thunder Hell and puppet armies isolate the squad, his vines disrupt the formation and he prepares an eighty-mixed-element potion to rescue teammates, although Luo Feng's intervention lets him conserve it. The battle consequently reveals that this apparently playful sector lord has previously defeated an undying and can serve as the team's emergency answer when its captain is pinned down. (Chapters 756–761)

His deeper motive emerges when the team meets Tuo Lu, the enemy who killed and ate the comrade Poison calls Seventh Brother. Poison consumes a potion through his plant life, transforms, and drives seventy-two reinforced vines against the undying despite the damage they suffer. Luo Feng's assistance creates the opening for the vines to exhaust and kill Tuo Lu, settling a grudge Poison had spent more than three thousand years preparing to avenge. He later survives a larger retaliatory ambush because Luo Feng reveals his hidden strength, then parts from him with gratitude and a warning to stay alive. (Chapters 767–774)

Appearance and personality

Poison normally resembles a short, childlike male about one meter tall and favors drinking while curled on the team's sofa. In battle he can expand into a twelve-meter giant as golden engravings shine across his body. His teasing nickname irritates him, but he participates readily in the squad's banter and division of spoils. Beneath that sociable surface he is authoritative, vigilant, and fiercely loyal, carrying grief for Seventh Brother until revenge is complete. (Chapters 756, 758, and 767–769)

Abilities and progression

Poison is a sector-lord general whose chemistry, innate transformation, and cultivated plant life Ah Mo combine to produce undying-level combat power. His normal vines restrain massed puppets; specialized potions can alter and reinforce them, with the seventy-two-vine formation able to wear down an ordinary undying through entanglement and regeneration. These preparations are extremely expensive and situation-dependent, so his record does not establish an undying body, teleportation, or a later rank breakthrough. (Chapters 758–762 and 767–769)
