Marquis of Jiu Jiang

Marquis of Jiu Jiang is a Yu Kingdom Primal Chaos Overlord whose fief includes Huyang City when Luo Feng arrives and whose careful patronage helps turn Luo Feng into the prefecture's decisive defender.

Biography

Defense of Jiu Jiang Prefecture

Faced with Marquis Liu Yin's pressure along the border, the Marquis recognizes that Luo Feng's killing of Xue Yun gives his territory an unusually strong defender. He reports Luo Feng to the Monarch, rewards him, and later hires him for one hundred million Cosmic Sand because Luo Feng's Primal Chaos-pinnacle will can disable massed mechanical formations. The expense is strategic: the Marquis knows his own forces cannot balance the Heartshadow Sect alone, and he continues seeking royal reinforcements while Luo Feng holds Huyang City. (Chapters 1557, 1559, and 1583)

Rewarding Luo Feng and exchanging the fief

After Luo Feng and the Marquis capture the Heartshadow Sect, the Marquis accepts Luo Feng's claim to Huyang City and celebrates his later transcendence of the Primal Chaos Realm. When Shi Kingdom surrounds the prefecture years later, the Marquis realizes Luo Feng's reputation—not his own deterrence—has spared it. He therefore accepts the Monarch's exchange of his vulnerable border fief for the larger and richer Shi Jiang Primal Chaos Prefecture, carefully excluding Huyang City because it already belongs to Luo Feng. (Chapters 1600, 1616, and 1682–1683)

Appearance and personality

The Marquis has silver hair draped over his shoulders, each strand distorting the surrounding void. He is politically realistic and attentive to long-term leverage: he knows stronger patrons will attract Luo Feng, but still spends heavily to build goodwill and openly explains the military value behind that decision. (Chapters 1557 and 1583)

Abilities and cultivation

Primal Chaos Overlord

The Marquis is an established Primal Chaos Overlord whose personal strength is below Marquis Liu Yin's but sufficient to exchange several moves and escape. His spiritual will has reached the pinnacle of the Primal Chaos Realm. The source does not identify his Great Dao or a named offensive technique. (Chapters 1535, 1583, and 1616)

Void transport and territorial formations

He can use void transport in connection with Huyang City's formation, helping move and imprison the defeated Heartshadow Sect. His authority also controls armies, city arrays, and supporting Array Masters across the prefecture, though these institutional forces are not equivalent to personal cultivation. (Chapters 1583 and 1600)
