Monarch of Yu Country
The Monarch of Yu Country, also called Yushui, rules the second-rate Yu Kingdom and supports its Godly Kings, clans, and cities through territorial revenue. When an ambush and Shi Kingdom's invasion threaten that structure, he personally seeks Luo Feng's aid and cedes border prefectures to secure a lasting defense. (Chapters 1495, 1657, and 1682–1688)
Biography
A distant ruler under pressure
For much of the Huyang conflict, the Monarch is an institutional presence rather than a participant: city revenue flows upward to him, he supports selected disciples such as General Yuewu, and his Guest Elder relationship with the Flame Wind Ancient Country helps deter uncontrolled escalation with Shi Kingdom. He approves Huyang City's transfer to Luo Feng after the war, but his position weakens when the Master of Shi Kingdom and allied Godly Kings trap his True Body in Tianhe, threatening the Primordial Bloodline investment on which much of his strength depends. Alliance with Luo Feng
Facing territorial erosion and possible loss of the resources sustaining the Yushui clan, the Monarch brings two of Luo Feng's old acquaintances to Huyang City and openly explains his need. He offers either membership in Yu Kingdom or payment in prefectures and treasures, while acknowledging that opposing the Emperor of Tian Kun may be too dangerous. Luo Feng accepts ten border prefectures, partly repaying an earlier Void Proliferation Mother Tree Leaf, and forces Shi Kingdom back. The Monarch responds with lasting gratitude, promises reciprocal help, and later appears at the marriage connecting his daughter Yushui Tianxin with Luo Feng's disciple Moyu Qingyan. Appearance and personality
The Monarch is covered in hair, with an aura so formidable that even an avatar terrifies much weaker cultivators. He is solitary and lacks the network of friends enjoyed by the Emperor of Tian Kun, but he is direct about his vulnerability, protective of his clan and subordinate Godly Kings, and willing to cede valuable territory rather than pretend his kingdom can survive without outside aid. Second-Realm Godly King
The Monarch is a Second-Realm Godly King and has transitioned into Primordial Bloodline cultivation, investing immense resources into his True Body. He can act through avatars, traverse distorted space-time rapidly, and deter other states from annihilating his kingdom because even a dispossessed monarch would remain a dangerous enemy. Rule and resource distribution
His kingdom continuously gathers residence fees and natural treasures across its prefectures, which he directs toward the Yushui clan, disciples, and subordinate powers.
