Marquis Chu Ji
Marquis Chu Ji is a First-Rank Marquis allied with Marquis Chu Yuan in their contest against Emperor Chu Yu.
Biography
The five-person challenge
Chu Ji shares Chu Yuan's aggressive temperament but acts as the more calculating partner, warning him not to violate imperial prohibitions and proposing a planned response instead. The two marquises assemble three Guest Elders and confront Luo He, demanding that he abandon Emperor Chu Yu. Chu Ji treats the combined five pinnacle Primal Chaos cultivators as overwhelming leverage, but Luo Feng's transformed body breaks their techniques and reverses the ambush. (Chapters 1610–1613)
Guest Elder Xun uses a Causality Escape Technique to remove Chu Ji from Luo Feng's cage; the other three allies are destroyed or humiliated. Chu Ji survives, acknowledges that only Xun saved him, and later ranks fifth among Emperor Chu's seven First-Rank Marquises after the mission accounting, below the newly ascendant Chu Yu. The corpus does not record another challenge or a later breakthrough. (Chapters 1613–1615 and 1647)
Appearance and personality
No clear physical description is separated from the group. Chu Ji is stern, status-conscious, and more disciplined than Chu Yuan, but he still uses imperial rank and numerical strength to coerce Luo Feng. (Chapters 1610–1613)
Abilities and cultivation
Chu Ji is at the pinnacle of the Primal Chaos Realm and commands two Guest Elders. His own named Dao is not given; his survival in the confrontation comes from Guest Elder Xun's causality-based escape rather than a personal defensive feat. (Chapters 1611–1615)
