Biography

Rivalry over Emperor Chu's tasks

Chu Yuan tries to intimidate the newly promoted Emperor Chu Yu away from emperor-level tasks, believing only pinnacle Primal Chaos figures deserve to compete. When Chu Yu claims priority, Chu Yuan's rage destroys his own pavilion and kills nearby attendants before Marquis Chu Ji restores his clarity. He and Chu Ji then turn their retaliation toward Chu Yu's guest elder Luo Feng, gathering three other pinnacle figures and using Luo Feng's companion as bait. The plan underestimates Luo Feng completely. (Chapters 1610–1613)

Luo Feng seals the battlefield, kills two guest elders, and traps Chu Yuan after the marquis's full staff strike does no damage. Chu Yuan's thunder body survives being smashed from solid flesh into liquid with little lasting energy loss, but Luo Feng takes his Godly King weapon and releases him after a prolonged beating. The humiliation makes Chu Yuan avoid Luo Feng rather than continue the feud openly. His primordial-bloodline cultivation then scores last in both insight and potential subtasks, and with no Blood Spirit Golden Pearls he finishes seventh in the Heavenly Task. Appearance and personality

Chu Yuan is an ugly, burly figure covered in thick black hair, with lightning filling his eyes when enraged. Youthful hardship taught him to submit when truly outmatched, but his primordial cultivation aggravates murderous rages, status obsession, and a desire to answer frustration with violence. Abilities and cultivation

  • He combines two imperial bloodlines and cultivates the primordial Eight Techniques of Thunderbolt, nearing a Thunder Beast Juvenile Body. This makes his flesh exceptionally tough, vital, and able to recover while supported by minor-universe divine power. (Chapters 1612 and 1614)
