Emperor Gui Xu

Emperor Gui Xu is a reincarnated Godly King and Reincarnation Tower member whose feud with the Flame Wind Imperial Clan drives both his alliances and his relentless cultivation in dangerous treasure lands.

Biography

Reincarnation and revenge

Gui Xu was once Emperor Xuan's direct disciple and a Flame Wind guest elder, but three Emperors later surrounded him after killing his wife, children, clan, and an entire city. He survives long enough to reincarnate, then retaliates by hunting newly advanced Flame Wind Godly Kings and erasing their resurrection media. Unlike other hidden Reincarnation Tower members, he accepts exposure because he believes he has nothing left to protect, while the Tower gives him comrades who can support his effort to survive the current reincarnation era. (Chapters 1668–1670 and 1695)

Expeditions with Luo Feng

Gui Xu recruits Luo Feng for a Dream Domain expedition, assigns scouting and combat roles, and leads from the front with Wuxin God King. When a mass of Dream Realm creatures traps the group, he warns against wasteful direct clashes, then burns his bloodline and uses Heaven and Earth Great Destruction to break the creatures once Luo Feng and Wuxin create an opening. The success leads to repeated joint expeditions and growing respect for Luo Feng; later, Luo Feng's killing of Di Wu and Di Xi gives Gui Xu revenge he had never expected to achieve himself. Appearance and personality

Gui Xu is a towering, aged-faced man who wears blue armor on the Dream Domain expedition. He is amiable with comrades, indifferent to public exposure, and domineering in battle, yet experienced enough to retreat from forces such as Wanfa Tower rather than mistake vengeance for invulnerability. Abilities and cultivation

Origin Dao of Matter and eight-armed combat

Gui Xu cultivates the Origin Dao of Matter and can manifest eight arms, each wielding a weapon and producing a different attack, including thunder, blood light, fire, and water. The combined assault overwhelms ordinary Second-Realm Godly Kings and can efficiently destroy multiple Dream Realm creatures without damaging nearby treasures. The mechanism joining these different forces is not explained beyond his high realm and matter-based cultivation. (Chapter 1698)

Primordial Bloodline and Heaven and Earth Great Destruction

His Primordial Bloodline can erupt as surging crimson flame. Combined with the Ultimate-Realm secret technique Heaven and Earth Great Destruction, the eight weapons twist the surrounding world and smash powerful Stone Monsters in repeated blows. The outburst damages his own physical body, and because he lacks an avatar, death requires expensive regrowth from an externally preserved bloodline and resurrection carrier. His Ultimate-Realm spiritual will must also suppress residual bloodline will in the Dream Domain's deeper layers. (Chapters 1697–1700)

Relationships

• Luo Feng: Gui Xu recruits Luo Feng as scout and later values him as both a safer expedition partner and a powerful future ally; Luo Feng eventually kills two Emperors tied to Gui Xu's revenge.
• Wuxin God King: Gui Xu's regular combat partner, whose escape and sword-array methods complement Gui Xu's direct destructive power.
• Cloud Sky God King: A weaker Reincarnation Tower teammate who supplies poison and domain support during their expeditions.
• Emperor Xuan: Gui Xu's former master in the Flame Wind Ancient Country before his feud with the Imperial Clan.
