Elder Si Fan Qi is a senior Gold Horn-race official assigned to receive and escort Luo Feng during the human envoy's visit. He combines the duties of a military commander, cultural intermediary, and local sponsor, protecting Luo Feng while helping him gain access to the race's sacred inheritance.

Biography

Escorting the human envoy

Si Fan Qi welcomes Luo Feng as the Pagoda Squadron's elder, then joins the mission leadership aboard the Yun Mo Planet ship. When Yao Hai attacks, Si Fan Qi reveals that he has been waiting in concealment and destroys the emperor-level Undying with a sledgehammer. He later erects a hundred-meter space barrier so Luo Feng can conduct a private duel without harming the surroundings, and he openly praises the Domain Lord for defeating a Sector Lord spirit reader. Securing access to the sacred land

Within Laos World, Si Fan Qi explains local conditions and carries the tribe leader's letter to the doyen, making Luo Feng's study of the sacred tablet possible. Although his congratulations after Luo Feng defeats Bei Chuang are not wholly enthusiastic, he recognizes that granting the human genius access is an investment in the Gold Horn race's future relationship with humanity. At Xi Luo Duo's statue, he and Dylan detect Luo Feng's distress and maintain an Undying-energy shield around him through the unexplained ordeal. (Chapters 647–653, 660–662, and 664–668)

Appearance and personality

Si Fan Qi is an elderly man in gold armor with a gold marking on his forehead. His powerful voice and formal manner suit his office, while his conduct is watchful and pragmatic: he can praise Luo Feng sincerely, feel divided when a Gold Horn genius loses to him, and still protect the envoy and advance the longer-term diplomatic investment. Abilities and progression

As an emperor-level Undying, Si Fan Qi can conceal himself during an Undying battle, bind or isolate space, project protective Undying energy, and kill Yao Hai with a single well-timed sledgehammer ambush.
