Dylan

Dylan is the undying guard leader assigned to protect Luo Feng after Luo Feng enters the Virtual Universe Company's Primal Region. A soul specialist trusted by True Yan Knight's lineage, he combines personal loyalty with the caution required to protect a rising genius whose enemies often exceed Dylan's own rank.

Biography

Guarding the Primal Region's newest member

When Luo Feng arrives in the Primal Region, Dylan is already waiting with a guard team and villa staff. True Yan Knight chose him through a close chain of trust: Dylan is Bloodthirst Emperor's disciple, while Bloodthirst Emperor is True Yan's third disciple. Dylan accepts the assignment without self-importance, tells Luo Feng that protection is his duty, and takes charge of the residence while Luo Feng begins the region's demanding training. His presence gives the young core member an undying protector who is personally connected to his teacher rather than merely supplied by an impersonal office. (Chapters 597–598)

Dylan's selection also reflects the danger surrounding Luo Feng. He is described as a top general close to official level and particularly skilled in soul attack and defense, yet the narration makes clear that his value lies as much in reliability as raw strength. He waits respectfully when Luo Feng meets the undying teacher Bubulu and continues to support him through missions and travel, maintaining the subordinate role even though he vastly outranks Luo Feng in cultivation at the start of their association. Earth crisis and the end of his assignment

During Luo Feng's mission against Pan Xi, Dylan helps operate the F9-class Yun Mo Planet ship and uses it as part of the assault. After Luo Feng combines ships and his Cloud Contact Vine to corner the target, Dylan openly praises the plan instead of claiming the success for himself. That readiness to supply overwhelming tools while leaving the central decision to Luo Feng typifies his work as a guardian: he reduces risks, but does not take over the core member's mission. His preparations become crucial when Xu Xin and other members of Luo Feng's family are seized on Earth. Dylan has already left teleportation markers around the solar system, so he can move through his god country and return rapidly. He deliberately chooses the marker on Mars rather than one on Earth, preventing the hostile party from tracing the route back to his god country. Once he identifies Burning Heart Official and learns that Yan Zhu's side includes six emperor undyings and twelve official undyings, he warns Luo Feng honestly that the force is beyond him; both are then restrained before he can win a direct confrontation. Dylan nevertheless leaves a second safeguard. A marker entrusted to his teacher allows him to summon Bloodthirst Emperor, whose golden-disc ship shields Dylan and Luo Feng from the much larger undying formation until the Virtual Universe Company's enforcement force arrives. The rescue demonstrates the real strength of Dylan's position: prudence, advance preparation, and dependable lineage connections compensate when his personal power is insufficient. Later, after Dylan transports Luo Feng to company headquarters for the journey to Primal Chaos City, the guard team can no longer accompany a member advancing to sector-lord duties. Their service ends there, with Dylan alive and the protection he was assigned to provide successfully completed. (Chapters 707–708 and 727)

Appearance and personality

Dylan is bald and wears an exquisite black robe. Silver scales and engravings mark his forehead. He is consistently formal with Luo Feng and respectful toward senior beings, but his deference does not make him passive: he gives blunt threat assessments, plans escape routes in advance, and acts immediately when Luo Feng's family is endangered. His conduct supports a characterization of disciplined loyalty and operational caution rather than recklessness. (Chapters 597–598 and 705–707)

Abilities and progression

Undying rank and soul specialization

Dylan is an undying general whose overall combat power approaches official level. His stated specialty is soul attack and soul defense, making him especially suitable for guarding Luo Feng against mental-control threats. The corpus does not name a signature soul technique or explain its activation mechanics, and the Earth confrontation shows a firm upper limit: he cannot overcome a formation containing numerous official and emperor undyings merely through specialization. God-country transport and tactical support

As an undying, Dylan can use god-country teleportation. He combines that capability with pre-positioned markers, choosing a remote Martian arrival point to conceal his god country's location from enemies. He also pilots or directs the F9-class Yun Mo Planet ship as a weapon and protective platform. These applications show precision and judgment rather than a newly acquired power; no later rank breakthrough is established before his assignment ends. (Chapters 701 and 704–705)

• Luo Feng: Dylan is Luo Feng's guard-team leader and protector. He treats the position as a duty, supports Luo Feng's decisions, and calls on stronger allies when his own power cannot meet the threat.
