Crane Lord is one of the three Ancestor-level rulers of Blood Crane Territory. Despite the title, the corpus groups Crane Lord with Ancestors rather than the Cultivator Lords.

Biography

Defense and displacement

Crane Lord prefers peace with the major camps and criticizes Shadow Lord for seizing cultivator worlds, but defends the shared homeland once Luo Feng enters it. Confident in an undying body, Crane Lord repeatedly closes to grapple and strike while Blood Lord absorbs damage and Shadow Lord supplies movement and restraint. Even a full-force blow causes Luo only a superficial wound, leaving the defenders unable to halt his advance. (Chapters 1910–1912)

Luo Feng's larger Origin Great Destruction blasts shatter Crane Lord's feathers and throw the enormous body backward, though Blood Lord's support permits rapid recovery. The three rulers cannot breach Luo's protection or stop him refining their origin, and Crane Lord openly blames Shadow for bringing this disaster home. After their displacement and Luo's further growth, Crane Lord joins the other two former rulers in seeking protection from the Innate Primordial Life Camp. (Chapters 1913–1914 and 1951)

Appearance and personality

Crane Lord is a massive bird with silver-gold feathers, each compared to an indestructible weapon. Peaceful by the standards of Blood Crane Territory, Crane Lord nevertheless relishes direct combat, becomes frustrated by an elusive or invulnerable opponent, and voices unwelcome strategic truths more readily than Shadow Lord. Abilities and cultivation

Crane Lord masters highest-level Undying Power, described later as a weakened version of Wulan's power. The resulting undying body instantly repairs ordinary wounds and supports fearless close combat; its giant wings can grapple an enemy while weapon-like feathers attack. Extreme Origin Great Destruction still damages and repels the body, and Crane Lord relies on Blood Lord's healing when the blast consumes a substantial reserve. (Chapters 1910–1913 and 1951)
