Sleipnir

Sleipnir is a horse-shaped Major God among the Rebels and a sibling of Fenrir, Jormungandr, Hel, and their divine family. He helps organize Michael's path to killing a Primal and repeatedly accepts the task of personally stalling opponents stronger than himself.

Biography

God Wars and the Primal Conflict

Sleipnir arrives through a fissure with the gods summoned by the God Curses, apologizes for his siblings fusing with Michael, and regrets that he arrived too late to join them in the vessel. After two decades of Rebel combat, he directs Michael to devour the Primal Pantheon's gods before the containment cycle fails. Sleipnir then accepts new Authority, takes a humanoid battle form, and stalls Gluvos while Xerx is isolated. He survives with injured Essence largely intact, returns eager for another fight, and later joins his restored siblings in blocking Primals who try to flee the Beginning. Appearance and personality

Sleipnir first appears as a muscular horse with a familiar divine presence and more than four legs. Chapter 1013 calls him six-legged, while Chapter 1054 calls him an eight-legged horse; the corpus does not reconcile the discrepancy. When accepting deeper integration into the weave, he expands and compresses into a humanoid shape with mane-covered arms, claws replacing hooves, and a reshaped skull. He is perceptive, conversational, apologetic about his siblings, and unusually willing to sacrifice personal goals for the Rebel cause. (Chapters 1013, 1054, 1061)

Essence, speed, and divine metamorphosis

Sleipnir moves so quickly that even Percy cannot sense the motion or released Essence. He can fight and push back Major Gods, communicate mentally, integrate more deeply with the weave, and accept Laws or Authorities accumulated over millennia to power a metamorphosed combat form. This reinforcement lets him stall a Primal but not defeat one alone; Gluvos would have won a prolonged duel. Sleipnir later helps intercept fissures and Essence attacks with his siblings, yet the corpus never names his personal Divinity, Law, Authority, or signature weapon. Relationships

Loki and the divine siblings

Loki is identified as Sleipnir's father, while the God Curses and restored gods are his siblings. Sleipnir mocks their impulsiveness but apologizes sincerely for their unauthorized fusion with Michael and expresses regret that he could not join them. Loki, in turn, fears Sleipnir may die after sacrificing his old life to stall a Primal. Their later reunion restores the family as a coordinated divine fighting group. Michael Fang

Michael immediately finds Sleipnir more sensible than the siblings inside him. Sleipnir explains the Rebel situation, urges him to consume enemy gods, and risks his life to create the isolated duel with Xerx. Michael later heals his physical injuries, while Sleipnir remains one of the few Major Gods ready to fight the Primals again. (Chapters 1013, 1050–1068)

Gluvos

Sleipnir deliberately blocks the chubby Primal Gluvos while the Rebels isolate Xerx. He uses conversation and metamorphosis to prolong the fight, knowing outright victory is unlikely. Gluvos later remembers that he would have won given more time and reacts with alarm when Sleipnir returns beside siblings who were supposed to remain sealed. (Chapters 1054, 1068, 1082)
