Quinn Karta is the top-ranked “Sun” of his Saphirelake freshman class and one of the Tritan Alliance's Heavenly Chosen. His celebrated Blink-based combat talent later serves the faction that betrays the Flag War team.

Biography

Battle Exchange and Interdimensional Flag War

Quinn is introduced as the freshman Sun, smiling energetically while preparing to fight William Black before a packed arena. Dark Heavens had killed his family, and the news of another attack turns his normal liveliness into an unnerving calm. During the Flag War he uses daggers against the Tekur and is expected to teleport behind them with Blink, but Killian later identifies him among roughly eighty Descendant traitors affiliated with the Supreme Human Alliance. Quinn escapes the dimension before the normal portal opens, leaving survivors to discover that a famous defender had helped attack them. (Chapters 302, 448, 468, 507)

The Unknown Domain and the New Era

Quinn remains a fugitive for decades, while other characters repeatedly cite his betrayal and the lives he destroyed. In the new era, Michael uses the Guardians' connection to the weave to locate him within seconds and shows Quinn through a liquid mirror. The corpus ends without depicting Quinn's capture, trial, death, explanation, or reaction, so his last secure condition is alive, located, and still regarded by Michael as both traitor and killer. Appearance and personality
