Katharina Zenovia

Katharina Zenovia is the matriarch responsible for the Zenovia household's internal affairs and generational strength. She is the mother of Alice Zenovia and Kaleb Zenovia, and one of the Tritan Alliance's strongest Higher Lifeforms.

Biography

Arx, the Sacred Desert, and Bloodline Revelations

Katharina approaches Michael under the pretense that Alice is engaged, orders him away from both children, and attacks with ice when he refuses. The confrontation is a severe test of whether he will protect the relationship and accept its political risks: Michael forces her to move, but she traps him in Eternal Ice Prison and acknowledges his performance. The test is interrupted when Bloodhound arrives. Katharina attempts to freeze the War Priestess to save her and joins the resistance against the Divine intruder, surviving an encounter that kills the War Priestess and nearly destroys the other alliance leaders. Trials, Divinities, and the Titan War

Katharina receives updates while Michael searches for and cures Alice, then tearfully reunites with her daughter and embraces Michael in gratitude when both return. She supports rather than opposes their renewed relationship, nudges Alice out of a prolonged stare, and later lectures her that Michael's months of care and painful sacrifices deserve a genuine chance even though Alice's memories are gone. The encouragement is forceful enough to irritate Alice, but contributes to her decision to approach Michael on her own terms. (Chapters 954–959)

Appearance and personality

Katharina resembles Alice and has shoulder-length wavy black hair, pristine ocean-blue eyes, a fair complexion, and a lean figure. Every step and gesture is calculated to project the ideal woman and mother. Her public manner is cold, precise, commanding, and politically conscious, but the pose can melt into humor, worry, and intense maternal affection. Ice creation and Eternal Ice Prison

Katharina creates glacier-blue icicles, seals a person's mouth with ice, forms shields and swords, emits an immense chilly aura, and can encase herself in ice crystal. Eternal Ice Prison engulfs a target in a cone that rapidly consumes surrounding heat and temporarily freezes body and soul strongly enough to suppress Michael's True Extraction. Michael and Zeroa together force her to take the exchange seriously, but only Bloodhound's Purgatory Flames break the prison casually. Relationships

Alice Zenovia

Alice is Katharina's daughter and the subject of both fierce protection and strategic family concern. Their ice-and-fire battle proves his determination and earns her approval. Bloodhound

Bloodhound interrupts Katharina's test and reveals the gulf between a strong Higher Lifeform and a Divine enforcer. Katharina tries to save the War Priestess and survives Bloodhound's attack, but cannot prevent the death or defeat him. The encounter provides a hard upper limit on her demonstrated ice power.
