Jirah Loar

Jirah Loar is a proud Descendant whose exceptional speed fails against Michael's prediction and battlefield control.

Biography

Battle Exchange and Interdimensional Flag War

Jirah holds the twenty-third Duo token and claims childhood friendship with Maria Seraph, a status that deters challengers until Michael ignores it. Enraged, he combines Speedster and God Speed but charges into Michael's calculated counterattack, suffering wounds and a severed leg. Maria saves and completely heals him; his later speed remains Michael's benchmark against a Melee Tekur. (Chapters 436, 439, 475)

Savannah Alliances and Regional War

Jirah does not personally appear in the later duel cited by the manifest. Killian Zeus remembers that Michael defeated Jirah and treats the result as proof rather than a fluke. The reference confirms Jirah's loss remains known among elite students, but supplies no later action, advancement, allegiance, or fate for Jirah himself. (Chapter 493)

Appearance and personality

The corpus identifies Jirah as a young Descendant but gives no reliable hair, eyes, height, or fixed clothing. He is proud, easily provoked, invested in Maria's opinion, and privately uncertain whether she considers him a real friend. Anger pushes him to expose his full Inheritance Technique rather than preserve family secrets. (Chapters 436–439)

Speedster and God Speed

Speedster combines with the Loar Inheritance Technique God Speed to produce extreme acceleration, spatial ripples, and brief movement around one hundred meters per second. Jirah uses a rapier and trained reflexes, but Michael exploits the distance he crosses before he can react. The corpus gives no Soultrait star rating or later progression. (Chapters 437–439, 475)

Relationships

Maria Seraph is Jirah's claimed childhood friend, healer, and the focus of his pride. Michael Fang challenges and defeats him while studying Maria's healing. Other members of Maria's admirers protect Jirah and share his hostility toward Michael. (Chapters 436–441)

Items

Jirah manifests leather armor, a sapphire-blue rapier, and boots. Their names, grades, and final custody are not given. (Chapter 437)
