Heavy Armored Elephant
The Heavy Armored Elephant is a monster summoned into Michael Fang's territory. Its exceptional mass and armor make it a frontline shield long before its evolution into the much larger Behemoth Elephant.
Biography
Saphirelake Admission and EmeraldLeaf Contact
The elephant arrives among a group of two-star Summons, initially confused but soon bows to Michael as their Link of Loyalty forms. It helps pave a route through the Untamed Jungle and becomes the army's fearless vanguard against the Blood-eyed Minotaur, charging the monster even after soldiers are slaughtered. The Minotaur halts the charge, cracks its tusks, and throws it aside, yet the intervention forces the enemy to release its axe and gives Tiara a critical opening. The elephant later returns to formation as visible bait and frontline support against Horned Gray Wolves. (Chapters 120, 134, 143, 169)
Arx, the Sacred Desert, and Bloodline Revelations
After a long period without detailed individual scenes, the original Tier 1 Heavy Armored Elephant receives an evolution alongside other important monsters in Michael's territory. It becomes a Tier 2 Superior Existence called the Behemoth Elephant, grows to nearly fifteen meters, and layers energy-based force distribution over metal-plated natural armor. Chapter 710 also refers to Heavy Armored Elephants in the plural, but Chapter 712 specifically traces the original singular summon; the corpus does not establish whether every later elephant shares its exact evolution. (Chapters 710–712)
Appearance and personality
At summoning, the elephant is more than four meters tall and weighs close to twelve tons, with two long tusks and thick gray, armor-like skin. As a Behemoth Elephant it stands nearly fifteen meters tall and develops metal-like plates over thick hide. It is respectful toward Michael and remarkably brave in combat, bowing soon after arrival and charging a far more lethal Minotaur without hesitation. No speech, private thoughts, or individual name are given. (Chapters 120, 143, 712)
Behemoth defense and charging power
The Heavy Armored Elephant's first strengths are mass, tusks, charging force, and skin that Michael doubts he can penetrate. Evolution makes defense its defining specialization. When it circulates origin energy, a semi-transparent hue spreads incoming force over its surface before an attack reaches the metal-plated hide beneath. Even Siegfried Dracoon must use special techniques to break the hue and still cannot pierce the natural armor. The ability distributes impact rather than simply canceling it, and the corpus does not demonstrate its resistance to mental, spiritual, or internal attacks. (Chapters 120, 143, 712)
Relationships
Michael Fang
Michael becomes the elephant's Lord through the Link of Loyalty formed at summoning. He assigns it construction and frontline roles, includes it in coordinated formations, and later supplies the opportunity to evolve. The elephant answers with immediate reverence and reliable service. (Chapters 120, 134, 169, 710–712)
The Blood-eyed Minotaur
The Minotaur is the elephant's most consequential opponent. The elephant's full charge pushes it back but cannot overcome Burning Life, and the monster cracks its tusks before throwing it away. Even in defeat, the charge prevents the Minotaur from using its axe and materially helps Michael's army survive. (Chapter 143)
Items
No weapon, armor set, saddle, or named Artifact is assigned to the Heavy Armored Elephant. Its protective hide, later metal-like plates, tusks, and semi-transparent defensive hue are parts of its body or evolved abilities rather than equipment. (Chapters 120, 712)
