Bloodhound

Bloodhound, whose personal name is Crimson, is a Divine Lifeform of the Supreme Human Alliance. He arrives in the Tritan Alliance to purge Michael Fang, having already killed the War Priestess and nearly destroyed Daniel Fang's Living Soul with Purgatory Flames.

Biography

Arx, the Sacred Desert, and Bloodline Revelations

Crimson is identified as Bloodhound when Eren Long confronts him over an earlier hunt. Bloodhound boasts about the Cursed Child who did not survive, then fights Eren as an approximate equal while attempting to capture and purify Michael for the Supreme Human Alliance—or kill him if capture proves impractical. Michael, his Curses, Eren, and Evalynn combine their powers to stop him; a True Extraction Globe leaves Bloodhound near death, but an emergency Artifact encloses him in a purple cocoon and removes him before Eren can finish the battle. (Chapters 742–743)

The Nest and the Supreme Human Alliance

Bloodhound does not return directly during this phase. His failed purge nevertheless defines the danger Michael is preparing to face: Michael adapts the same purgatory flames against the Undead Pharaoh, while Eren expects the Supreme Human Alliance to renew its pursuit after Bloodhound recovers. Later reports describe Bloodhound as nearly killed and “out of order,” and Palika uses his experience fighting Bloodhound to prepare for future clashes with Divine Lifeforms; the corpus never confirms Bloodhound's recovery, location, or ultimate fate. Appearance and personality

The corpus does not securely describe Bloodhound's face, hair, build, or clothing. In battle he is surrounded by a blood-red hue and white Purgatory Flames, and serious wounds cease bleeding once he invokes Primordial Bloodline. He is mocking, proud, cruel, and tactically opportunistic: he deliberately presses Eren's grief, accepts collateral destruction without concern, and changes targets the moment he sees a chance to kill Michael. Purgatory flames and Hyuman combat arts

Bloodhound is a Divine Lifeform whose speed and swordsmanship let him exchange dozens of blows with Eren in seconds. His Purgatory Flames burn Curses and Undead, and he coats a Sword Artifact with both the flames and his blood-red energy. Primordial Bloodline burns his own blood to multiply his prowess for roughly thirty seconds; the World Serpent estimates that high mastery can exceed a tenfold amplification, but the technique has a strict duration and does not let him overpower Eren permanently. Relationships

Eren Long

Eren and Bloodhound are old enemies whose previous encounter left Eren scarred and two of Bloodhound's allies dead. Their dialogue shows that each understands the other's strength and restraint. Bloodhound exploits Eren's concern for civilians and Michael, while Eren openly considers himself stronger and helps Michael force Bloodhound's emergency withdrawal. (Chapters 742–743)

Michael Fang

Michael is first Bloodhound's purification target and then his attempted victim. Bloodhound's flames tear at Michael's Curses and threaten Daniel's Living Soul, making the conflict personal. Michael responds with the True Extraction Globe that nearly kills him, and Bloodhound's failure makes Michael a still higher-priority target for the Alliance. (Chapters 742–747)

Palika Mervenham

Palika's direct battle with Bloodhound occurs off-page. Chapter 858 establishes only that the encounter was serious enough to make the Berserker Chieftain train specifically for another Divine opponent. The corpus does not identify the time, place, winner, or injuries from that fight. (Chapter 858)

Items

Sword Artifact and dagger

Bloodhound's principal visible weapon is an unnamed Sword Artifact that he coats in Purgatory Flames and blood-red energy. He also retrieves a small dagger during his exchange with Eren. Neither weapon's grade, maker, or later custody is given. (Chapter 742)

Emergency cocoon Artifact

When Bloodhound is left near death, an inconspicuous but very expensive Artifact produces a purple cocoon around him and makes him disappear. Eren infers that Bloodhound had saved for it and had not intended to expend it in this battle. Its name, destination, and recovery mechanism remain unstated. (Chapter 743)
