Blaze Patriarch

The Blaze Patriarch is the head of the Blaze household and a principal architect of the human assault on the Tritan Alliance. Backed by two Divine brothers, he sacrifices civilians to open their way into battle, then attempts to preserve his household by turning the resulting destruction into propaganda and territorial war.

Biography

The Nest and the Supreme Human Alliance

The Blaze Patriarch begins his campaign by using abducted children's blood and the Vylraen Seal, then bombs a city and sacrifices its population to activate a Carnage Portal for Eren Long's two Divine brothers. He values his own survival above allies or civilians, disappearing while the summoned powerhouses fight and later exploiting the devastation to blame Berserkers, Warlock Centaurs, and Lepodya. That deception helps drive a civil war, but the nonhuman alliance maims him and forces his household to retreat into the Origin Expanse under artifact protection. (Chapters 824–829 and 849–862)

In the Sacred Desert, the wounded patriarch regrows an arm but remains pale, weakened, and dependent on his last concealment devices. He assembles the Pyromantica Star Formation and leads the remaining Blaze armies, only to be drawn into a trap involving the Primal Phoenix. Michael severs his limbs, extracts his Soultraits and fragments despite the agony, and kills him, ending the patriarch's attempt to convert sponsorship and sacrificial warfare into lasting rule. God Wars and the Primal Conflict

The Blaze Patriarch's direct role ends with his death, but later revelations clarify the damage around him. The Will denies arranging the betrayal that preceded Daniel's death and instead identifies the patriarch's underlings as the responsible actors. This does not establish that the patriarch personally issued the order, yet it connects his organization to an older tragedy and adds another layer to the Blaze household's record of opportunistic violence. Appearance and personality

The Blaze Patriarch is a middle-aged man with red hair. After his retreat to the Sacred Desert, he is pale, missing or regrowing an arm, and visibly weakened. He is calculating, ruthless, and intensely self-preserving: he is willing to consume captives and civilians as resources, flee while sponsors fight, and rewrite a catastrophe into propaganda that protects his household. Fire arts and sponsored techniques

The patriarch is a Tier 6 Awakened with fire-attributed energy and Soultraits. His sponsors provide a Primordial Bloodline Technique, higher-grade techniques, and artifacts that supplement his own power. The Pyromantica Star Formation lets him organize large-scale flame power with his household, but his later battle shows its vulnerability to superior preparation and the Primal Phoenix's overwhelming flames. His greatest demonstrated advantage is artifact-supported preparation rather than a fully explained signature Soultrait. Protective domes, concealment devices, prepared blood, portal mechanisms, and battlefield formations let him survive stronger opponents or dictate initial conditions. Once Michael removes those conditions and incapacitates him, the patriarch has no shown counter to Extraction. (Chapters 824–825, 855, and 889–893)

• Michael Fang: Michael opposes the patriarch's campaign, traps his remaining forces in the Sacred Desert, extracts his Soultraits, and executes him.
• Eren Long: The patriarch uses a Carnage Portal to summon Eren's hostile Divine brothers; Eren then seeks the patriarch's death to prevent further disasters.
• Olivia Blaze: A member of the Blaze household whose later fate is shaped by the patriarch's war and the collapse of his faction.
• Bloodhound and Crimson: Human allies in the wider campaign against the Tritan Alliance, although their exact command relationship with the patriarch is not defined.
• Daniel Fang: The patriarch's underlings are later identified as Daniel's betrayers; the corpus does not prove that the patriarch personally ordered the betrayal.
