Heath Hardwick is a Skyfall marquess who conspires with Alger against Edda and Felberta. His attempt to use assassins against them brings him into conflict with Nux, who defeats, coerces, and enslaves him before appropriating his household's resources.

Biography

A noble conspiracy becomes a liability

Heath and Alger jointly direct an assassination network and demand an explanation when the agents sent after Edda fail to report. Heath reasons that an unseen elite must be protecting her associates, yet he still helps order One to kill Felberta, capture Nux, and use him to lure Edda out. The plan treats all three targets as pieces in the marquesses' rivalry rather than people capable of striking back. (Chapters 80–82)

Nux enters Heath's room with captured assassins and offers submission as the alternative to torture. Heath initially takes confidence from Nux's Master Stage cultivation, but loses it when the younger man overwhelms him. Faced with the threatened loss of his fingers, he submits and subsequently addresses Nux as Master alongside Alger. (Chapters 100–102)

Heath then provides access to his household's cultivation manuals, weapons, and other resources.
