Azarion Leander

Azarion Leander is Nux and Allura's only son, the first of the Leander children, and a Primordial Incubus. His gentle presence can calm and draw in strangers, while his position as the eldest makes him a mediator and caretaker among siblings with widely different temperaments.

Biography

The eldest among the Leander children

Azarion grows up in Nux's inner universe as the oldest Leander child. His siblings respect that seniority even when they do not always obey him, and he accepts the associated duty of mediating their conflicts. Other children compare his conversational control to Nux's: if Azarion does not wish to reveal something, even an insistent sibling is unlikely to extract it from him. (Chapters 2308–2309)

That authority is usually exercised gently. Azarion can speak comfortably with Kaelith, whose uncontrolled split personality makes most children uneasy, and he persistently tries to draw the reclusive Nihyron into conversation. When Velora uses her influence to start an argument between a couple, Azarion lets the situation develop briefly, then intervenes, calms the pair, and leads his troublesome sister away. Keeping the family steady during Nux's absence

At a family gathering, Azarion looks after Sable when she is too relaxed to eat, feeding his younger sister while the adults discuss the crisis outside their universe. After the children are put to sleep and time passes without their awareness, Nihyron and Kaelith help Azarion recognize inconsistencies in what happened. He confronts Allura directly, resisting her attempts to soothe or distract him until she admits only that Nux is fighting a difficult opponent. (Chapters 2320 and 2343)

Azarion's immediate fear is not that his father lacks strength but that he might lose him. Reassured by Allura, he accepts her request to keep the other children calm, then chooses not to tell them that Nux is fighting because he believes the knowledge would make them worry without helping. Azarion appears no older than ten. He has fair, nearly luminous skin, long white-purple hair, deep purple eyes, slightly elongated ears, and two small black horns. He is warm, playful, and patient without being easily manipulated. His manner lets him converse with outcast siblings and soothe strangers, while his perceptiveness makes him difficult for Allura to distract when he believes the adults are hiding danger. He can be indulgent—he initially watches Velora's mischief rather than stopping it immediately—but ultimately prioritizes family stability and accepts responsibility beyond his apparent age. Abilities and cultivation

Azarion is identified as a Primordial Incubus, a racial or bloodline designation; the corpus does not state his conventional cultivation stage, Law, Domain, or cultivation method. His clearest supernatural effect is a comforting influence around his presence. Strangers drift toward him, relax almost into a trance, and cease reacting aggressively even when crowded.
