Dragon Token

The Dragon Token, also called the Golden Dragon Token and the Token of Bahamut, is the draconic artifact Keoza gives Lux. It establishes Heaven's Gate, links Lux to Karshvar Draconis, and serves as the vessel through which Keoza manifests.

History

Keoza's gift and Heaven's Gate

Lux receives the token after completing Keoza's dungeon. The fist-sized gold object bears a spread-winged Crystal Dragon and carries enough draconic presence to earn the Kobolds' respect. Lux later places it on an Adventurer's Guild altar to register Heaven's Gate; the exceptional token is accepted as legitimate and produces the world's sole Mythical Guild rather than an ordinary low-ranked organization. (Chapters 156–159, 359–364)

Keoza's vessel

The token can take Lux to Karshvar Draconis once every three days and initially grants three summons of an Argonaut-ranked Crystal Dragon. Keoza's repeated manifestations gradually restore his former power, and by Daniel's invasion he appears at peak Demigod Rank. When their defense fails, Keoza returns to token form and encases Lux in crystal as a final protective measure; he later remains able to split his spirit from the vessel. (Chapters 156, 361, 1103, 1199)

Abilities and properties

  • Transports Lux to Karshvar Draconis once every three days. (Chapter 361)
  • Summons Keoza, whose restored strength increases across uses; the initial reward describes three Argonaut-ranked summons. (Chapters 156, 1103)
  • Acts as Keoza's spirit vessel and can protect Lux through crystallization, but even that defense cannot by itself overcome Daniel's Outer-God-powered attack. (Chapter 1103)
