Vahan Aron

Vahan Aron is the strongest High-Ranker of the Vahan Empire and the bodyguard and right-hand man of Emperor Andreas. A loyal administrator as well as an S-Ranked combatant, he carries out the emperor’s recruitment and dungeon policy, regards Lux as a growing threat, and remains beside Andreas when Vahan’s imperial power collapses.

The Lionheart Tournament and the Hidden Domain

Aron secretly watches Lux’s Vahan leadership trial with Andreas, quickly recognizes that the nobles’ contest is a farce, and asks whether they should intervene. Loyalty keeps him bound to the emperor’s delayed strategy even when he is ashamed of it. He finally appears after Vera punishes the attackers, slices the failed trial target in two, and declares Lux successful, but his warning that they stand in Vahan’s capital cannot repair the abuse. He later supervises dungeon negotiations and offers Lux gold, land, and imperial support, trying to convert a damaged relationship into strategic advantage for Vahan. (Chapters 346–348, 436, 440)

Abyssal invasion and broken memories

Two years before Lux’s revenge, Andreas expects Aron to advance from S-Ranker to Saint and help realize Vahan’s expansion, but that promotion never occurs. When Lux’s flying Bone Ship enters Dainsleif, Aron senses multiple Supremes and immediately understands that Vahan’s four Saints cannot save the empire. After the Saints are devoured, he flies to support the physically and emotionally broken Andreas, abandons diplomatic restraint, and demands the price for sparing their people. His loyalty survives the destruction of the palace and Vahan’s ambitions, leaving him alive beside a ruler whose state has been permanently diminished. (Chapters 1072–1073)

Appearance and personality
