Emily is the middle daughter of Great General Garret and Sarah. Forced to flee the Haca Dynasty at fourteen, she rebuilds her life in Heaven’s Gate and later becomes one of Gerhart’s two fiancées alongside her older sister Alexa.

Heaven’s Gate and the continental wars
Emily is shopping when Ronan uses her trust in the family’s “kind uncle” to bring her home during his move against Sarah and Alexa. Rescued with the rest of the household, Emily initially rejects the accusation against him and faints at the sight of Barca, but learning Ronan’s intentions destroys that trust. Exile also strips away her comfortable expectations: she complains about rough beds and admits that shopping is her only hobby, yet values keeping the family together. In Lux’s guild she begins adapting through friendships, curiosity about its monsters, and the security provided by her reunited parents and sisters. (Chapters 619, 621, 630, 633, 638)
Open Heaven’s Gate
During and after the final war, Emily and Alexa secretly develop relationships with Gerhart. Garret discovers both daughters in Gerhart’s room a week after the fighting ends and demands that the young man prove himself. Gerhart narrowly defeats their father and earns his acknowledgment, allowing Emily and Alexa to proceed toward marriage openly rather than continue hiding. Emily follows Emma in Lux’s wedding procession, alive and included in the new era’s family celebrations; the planned marriage marks her transition from a displaced noble teenager into someone choosing her own household. Appearance and personality
Emily is a pretty human girl around twelve to fourteen when introduced and explicitly fourteen by Chapter 785; her hair and eye colors are not specified. Noble training gives her formal manners and a practiced curtsy, while early comfort makes her skeptical of rough accommodations and fond of market trinkets. She is curious, teasing, and protective of family reputation, but her first encounter with a frightening Half-Orc exposes inexperience rather than cowardice. Emily is trained to behave according to a high-ranking noble family’s station, including formal greetings, social observation, and courtly manners. These are practical social skills rather than combat powers.
