Warrior's Weapon

The Warrior's Weapon, initially identified as the Steel Staff, is Kang Woojin's class-designation reward and constant martial companion. It grows with its user, can be summoned or dismissed by will, and develops an expanding range of weapon forms that let Woojin change tactics without changing equipment.

History and role

Class designation reward

Woojin received the Steel Staff when his Warrior class was designated. Its description called a Warrior's Weapon a companion akin to the user's life, promised that it would grow alongside him, and established that it would always answer his call. At first he used it as a blunt staff, summoning and dismissing it through mental commands. By level 20 it could become a glaive or hammer and granted additional strength, turning what began as a simple class reward into a weapon whose development tracked Woojin's own progression. (Chapters 16, 20–21, and 25)

The ability to call the weapon back made thrown or disarmed forms unusually practical. Woojin could dismiss it from one position and summon it directly into his hand, while its increasing weight and variety supported both close combat and class skills. Greatsword and war-axe forms followed the early staff, glaive, and hammer, and Woojin repeatedly changed between them while grappling with Ogres, fighting mounted, or meeting stronger opponents whose attacks required a broader guard. A widening arsenal

As Woojin advanced, the Weapon expanded beyond heavy melee forms. It became a bow for ranged attacks, a spear for direct threats, paired daggers for fighting another dual wielder, several differently sized throwing knives, and eventually a whip capable of wrapping around a target. These were not separate weapons drawn from storage: the Steel Staff itself changed shape, sometimes more than once within the same engagement. This free-form style let Woojin answer strength, distance, speed, and enemy defenses with a different configuration while retaining a single summonable Item. (Chapters 50, 66, 68, 74, 77, 88, and 91)

The Weapon remained subject to combat wear despite its magical flexibility. During the fight with Iello, Woojin's sudden level increase restored its weakened durability along with his own magic and stamina, after which its axe form split Iello's ice body. Against the Dimensional Administrator, Woojin escaped a trapped glaive simply by unsummoning and resummoning the Weapon, then continued shifting among greatsword, bow, knives, and whip. These scenes show recovery and positional recall, but the corpus does not give a normal repair method, a durability value, or a maximum summoning range. (Chapters 90–91)

The Executioner manifestation

In the final confrontation, Woojin summoned the same Warrior's Weapon and it lengthened into an enormous scythe explicitly named Thrash's Executioner. One swing spread light across the dead physical Earth and returned color to the planet; another cut the Black Armor in half and absorbed the shadow released from it. Earlier chapters had treated the Executioner as a missing weapon connected to Thrash's completed set and Earth's key, so its appearance through an existing class weapon resolves its physical form without explaining the trigger. Whether this is a permanent evolution, an Authority temporarily expressed through the Weapon, or both remains unstated. (Chapter 93)

Abilities and properties

• Summoning and recall: Woojin can make the Weapon appear or disappear through a mental command. Dismissal and resummoning retrieve it after a throw, disarm, or entrapment, making physical separation less decisive than it would be for an ordinary weapon. (Chapters 16, 25, 49, and 91)
• Growth with the wielder: The Item's description says it grows with its user. New forms appear as Woojin advances, and the first explicit evolution at level 20 adds glaive and hammer forms plus five points of Strength. Later thresholds are shown through newly available forms but are not individually quantified. (Chapters 25, 29, 33, 66, and 88)
• Weapon transformations: Demonstrated configurations include staff, glaive, hammer or war hammer, greatsword, longsword or bastard sword, axe, spear, bow, daggers, throwing knives, whip, and the final Executioner scythe. Shape changes can occur during combat, but the source does not specify a cooldown or resource cost. (Chapters 25–91 and 93)
• Skill compatibility: Woojin channels techniques through the selected form, including Earth Strike through the hammer, fires projectiles with the bow, and uses heavy blade forms for decisive blows. The Weapon supplies the physical configuration; the corpus does not state that it independently grants those Warrior skills. (Chapters 29, 65, 77, and 91)
• Executioner authority: As Thrash's Executioner, the scythe is described as able to kill everything and influence both life and planets. Its two demonstrated swings affect a planet and destroy the Black Armor, but the limits, target selection, cost, and permanence of those effects are not explained. (Chapter 93)
